When enabled, SDCs must be approved (by GUID or IP address) before volumes can be mapped to them. set_sdc_authenticationEnable or disable SDC authentication. This feature ensures security by enforcing password-based authentication of the SDC to the MDM for access to mapped volumes. This prevents the SDC from accessing unauthorized volumes. set_sdc_volume_limitsSet limits to the IOPS and bandwidth that one SDC generates for the specified volume. This enables you to control the quality of service (QoS). set_approved_sdc_ips Set a list of up to four IP addresses that are approved for the given SDC.
