Upgrading Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) These upgrade instructions are intended to be used for field updates of VxRack FLEX storage only node from Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) rev 7.3 or rev 7.4 to rev 7.5 on nodes which are not running DAS Cache. These instructions assume the node is not directly connected to the Red Hat Yum repository to receive kernel and system updates. Warning: DAS Cache is not supported on RHEL 7.4. Failure to comply will result in customer data loss. While the examples given refer to a RHEL 7.3 to 7.5 upgrade, the same process and procedures also apply for a RHEL 7.4 to 7.5 upgrade.
