Manage multiple VxBlock Systems The stand-alone and integrated AMP Central configurations manage one or more VxBlock Systems. AMP Central manages the following systems: VxBlock System 340 VxBlock System 350 VxBlock System 540 VxBlock System 740 VxBlock System 1000 The AMP Central stand-alone configuration connects to a dedicated pair of management and ToR switches where VxBlock System management traverses the external network core. The AMP Central integrated configuration connects to a single pair of management and ToR switches within a managed VxBlock System. The AMP Central must traverse the external network core to manage additional VxBlock Systems. The production VMware vCenter Servers are hosted by AMP Central. You can use a single VMware vCenter Server for multiple VxBlock Systems (up to the 2000 server limit) or purchase more VMware vCenter Server licenses to separate the workloads for each system. The following figure shows network connectivity for an AMP Central with Dell EMC Unity XT for VMware vSphere 7.0: VLANs 1611 and 1612 are for the management domain and 1631 and 1632 are for the workload domain. The following figure shows network connectivity for an AMP Central with VMware vSAN: See AMP Central logical network topologies for an overview of the integrated and stand-alone AMP Central network topologies.
