Command actions for Windows PowerShell

When performing many tasks related to CloudLink Agent on Windows machines, you use the svm command. This command has several subcommands that are used to perform actions including encrypting, decrypting, setting dependencies, and showing status.

The following table lists the actions for each svm subcommand and identifies the topic in the CloudLink documentation where it is referenced.

Clear dependencies svm cleardeps <Microsoft SQL Server service name>

Decrypt

svm decrypt [disk_volume]

For more information, see Decrypt a volume.
Encrypt svm encrypt [disk_volume] Encrypt a mount point or block device.

Manage svm manage [device_name] Take control of a self-encrypting drive.
Register clagent.bat /S [clc_address] [/g [group_regcode]] [/t] Use the /t option to set Trusted Platform Module (TPM) mode on a physical machine that has a TPM version 2.0 chip installed. This option is only available during CloudLink Agent installation.
Release svm release [device_name] Release control of a self-encrypting drive.
Set dependencies svm setdeps <Microsoft SQL Server service name>
