All the VMware vSphere core VMs (PSCs, VC, and VUM) and VMware NSX VMs (NSX Manager and controllers) reside on a shared stretched LUN provided by VPLEX in the same stretched VMware vSphere management cluster. The VMs are hosted by VMware vSphere ESXi hosts on Cisco UCS B-Series blades and connected to a separate Layer 3 management port group.
