Manage the AMPs VxBlock Systems manage the AMPs that use their own resources to manage workflows. VxBlock Systems manage the following AMP configurations: AMP-3S AMP-VX AMP Central AMP Central AMP Central provides a consolidated management infrastructure to manage multiple VxBlock Systems in a data center. The stand-alone configuration is a dedicated cabinet for management switches and ToR switches. The integrated configuration is embedded within a VxBlock System cabinet and uses management switches and ToR switches that are included with the VxBlock System. AMP Central contains a core set of workloads to manage VxBlock Systems. Management tools are installed and configured on the AMP Central. AMP Central is provided with the following storage options: NAS: Dell EMC Unity 300 Hybrid or Dell EMC Unity XT 380 Hybrid SDS: VMware vSAN See the Dell EMC AMP Central Product Guide for information about AMP Central. AMP-3S AMP-3S for single-system management support includes 2 to 16 Cisco UCS C220 M5 servers and a single fixed Dell EMC Unity 300 Hybrid or Unity XT 380 Hybrid storage array. AMP-3S uses Cisco ToR and management switches for network connectivity. AMP-3S supports a single VMware vCenter Server to provide a core set of workloads to manage the AMP and VxBlock System. See the Dell EMC AMP-3S to AMP Central Conversion Guide to convert an AMP-3S M5. AMP-VX Manage multiple VxBlock Systems 1000 from a single, shared management platform using AMP-VX. Besides virtualization and compute components, AMP-VX contains a core set of management workloads to manage VxBlock 1000. Management tools are installed and configured on the AMP-VX. AMP-VX uses components and workloads to provide local management and management software to install and operate VxBlock 1000 components. AMP-VX can rapidly adapt and respond to growing and changing management capabilities that Dell EMC supports. See the Dell EMC AMP -VX Product Guide for information about AMP-VX.
